Waypoint Menu
The Waypoint menu contains commands to work with waypoints and routes.
- Mark a New Waypoint on the Map
- Click to create a new waypoint on the map.
- New Waypoint from Coordinates
- Create a new waypoint.
- Show a List of all the Waypoints
- Show a list of waypoints.
- Set the Active Point (Starting Point for Distance Calculations)
- Set the point used as a reference for distance and bearing calculations.
- Clear the Active Point
- Remove the red circle (the Active Point) from the map.
- Project a New Waypoint (Enter Distance and Bearing to New Point)
- Create a new waypoint a specified distance and bearing from the Active Point.
- Average Waypoint (Combine GPS Readings for Accuracy)
- Create a new waypoint by averaging the locations of a group of waypoints or points in a track.
- Build a Grid of Waypoints (for Timber Cruises, Sampling)
- Click on waypoints to join them into a route.
- Calculate Line of Sight to Another Waypoint
- Display an elevation profile of the terrain between two waypoints or radio towers.
- Draw a New Route on the Map
- Click on waypoints to join them into a route.
- Show a List of all the Routes
- Show a list of routes.
- Add the Selected Waypoints to a Route
- Add the waypoint to the route.
- Remove the Selected Waypoints from the Route
- Remove the selected waypoint from the route.
- Split the Route at the Selected Waypoint
- Break the route into two parts at the selected waypoint.
