File Menu
- New
- Create a new file.
- Open
- Open a GPX file. For all other file types, use Import or the Convert menu.
- Close File
- Close the file.
- Save
- Save the file in GPX format.
- Save As
- Save the file with a new name.
- Import Data from Other Programs...
- Import data from another program into ExpertGPS. Can also be used to merge GPX files.
- Add a Scanned Paper or Digital Map...
- Import a map in JPEG, PNG, TIFF, or BMP format.
- Add and Geotag Photos...
- Import photos from your digital camera and geotag them so they appear on the map.
- Export Data in List
- Export the data in the list on the left side of the ExpertGPS screen to another program.
- Export Data on Map
- Export the data on the map to another program.
- Export Image
- Export a screenshot of the map to use in another program, or include in an email or on a Web page.
- File Information
- Display or enter data about the GPX file, the author, and permitted uses of the data.
- Print Map
- Configure and print the map.
- Print List
- Print the data in the list on the left side of the ExpertGPS screen.
- Print Geocache
- Print the current geocache Web page.
- Print Preview
- Preview the printed page before sending it to the printer.
- Print Setup
- Change the printer and printing options.
- [Open Recent File]
- Open a recently-used file.
- Exit
- Exit ExpertGPS.
