Transferring ExpertGPS settings to a new computer

To transfer all of your ExpertGPS settings, including Scanned Maps, Favorites, and Layers, over to a new laptop or second computer, do the following:

1. Download and install the full version of ExpertGPS map software on your new computer
2. On your old computer, click Start/Run, and type regedit
3. In RegEdit, navigate to HKEY-CURRENT-USER/Software/TopoGrafix/
4. Export the ExpertGPS and Common folders to .reg files
5. Take those two .reg files to the new computer, and double-click them to install all of your settings into the Windows Registry.
6. Run ExpertGPS and enter your registration information.
